Rye Brook, NY (Sept. 1st, 2018) – TOUGHMAN Enterprises, www.TOUGHMANTri.com one of the leading triathlon brands in North and South America is happy to announce the new TOUGHMAN Ohio that will take place in Salt Fork Park, Cambridge OH in June 2019. HFP Racing and Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center invite you to Ohio’s season’s opening long course triathlon — TOUGHMAN Ohio. This exciting course will serve as the final event of the American Triple-T Ohio event, giving athletes an opportunity to compete alongside Triple-T participants as they battle for top honors. Salt Fork State Park is nestled in the Appalachian Hills of southeastern Ohio. TOUGHMAN Ohio will challenge all ability levels as you take on this challenging bike and run course. This will be the first US TOUGHMAN qualifier of the 2018 season!
According to race director Shannon Kurek, “The Salt Fork region is dubbed the ‘Crossroads of America,’ the Salt Fork region is found nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains along I-70 and I-77. Salt Fork Lodge & Conference Center is tucked away in the rolling hills of southeastern Ohio just a short drive from Cambridge, in Ohio’s largest state park. The lush wooded surroundings boast miles of recreational trails, wildlife, and impressive views of the sparkling lake.”
An additional 100 qualifiers from TOUGHMAN OH will compete at the TOUGHMAN NY World Championships on Sept 15 2019. Travel packages will be available.
About the TOUGHMAN Half Iron Triathlon Series
The TOUGHMAN Series currently consists of 15 races in the US and other parts of the world, with current events in Cambridge Ohio, Iquique Chile, Futrono Chile, Paulinia, Brasil; San Pedro, Argentina; Arica, Chile; Quillon, Chile; Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and stateside events in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Park City, Utah, Columbia, South Carolina and Lenoir City, Tennessee. The Series Championship in Stony Point New York, just 20 miles north of New York city, offers over $30,000 in age-group awards, a $4,950 cash purse (top 5) for qualifiers, a scenic bike course, and over 1,400 race support volunteers.
