Bike Crank Arm Length

There has been a ton of talk on crank arm length in triathlon world this year. Below is two links showing data on the top 15 men and women from the Ironman World Championship last month in Kona. It is interesting to see that after all the talk about going with shorter crank arms is the best thing that the top athletes are riding long and short length. So, I agree it is about personal comfort on the bike.

    1. A lot of them are trying to get the extra power out the forward riding I think. As Chris Lieto pointed out in a youtube video, that doing that you are recruiter some of the muscles used in running and this may come back to bit you later during the run.
